Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We aim to be straightforward about it rather than hiding behind legalese.

Who we are

Brink Outreach is a UK-based lead generation service for recruitment agencies, operated by Luke Ramsey as a sole trader. For any privacy-related questions, you can contact us at hello@brinkoutreach.co.uk.

What data we collect

We collect personal data in two main contexts.

If you contact us — through our website, email, or LinkedIn — we collect your name, email address, company name, and any other information you choose to share with us. We use this to respond to your enquiry and discuss our services with you.

If we contact you as part of our business development activity, we may collect your name, professional email address, job title, company name, and publicly available professional information. This data is sourced from publicly available business directories, professional networking sites, and similar legitimate sources.

Why we collect it (our lawful basis)

We rely on legitimate interest under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) for our business-to-business outreach. We believe our processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, is unlikely to negatively impact recipients, and falls within reasonable expectations of business communication.

For enquiries you initiate with us, we rely on either your consent or our legitimate interest in responding to and managing the enquiry.

How we use your data

We use personal data to:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as is necessary for the purposes described above. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep a minimal record of your opt-out request so we don't accidentally contact you again. Active business contact records are reviewed periodically and removed where no longer relevant.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@brinkoutreach.co.uk. We'll respond within 30 days.

Opting out

You can opt out of receiving communications from us at any time. Reply to any email with "STOP" or "unsubscribe" and we will remove you from our records immediately. There's no need to provide a reason.

How we protect your data

We use industry-standard tools (Google Workspace, secure cloud-based platforms with strong access controls) to store and process personal data. We limit access to data to what's necessary for our work. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Sharing data with third parties

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate our business. These currently include Google (email and document storage), Vercel (website hosting), Instantly (email sending platform), and Apollo (business contact data). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and process data only as needed to provide their services to us.

International data transfers

Some of our third-party providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms recognised under UK GDPR.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at hello@brinkoutreach.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated to active contacts where appropriate.
