This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We aim to be straightforward about it rather than hiding behind legalese.

Who we are

Brink Outreach is a UK based lead generation service for recruitment agencies, operated by Luke Ramsey as a sole trader. For any privacy questions, contact us at hello@brinkoutreach.co.uk.

If we have emailed you

If you've had an email from us, or from a recruitment agency we work for, this section is for you.

• What we hold: your name, work email address, job title, the company you work for, and what your company has made public about itself, such as a job advert.
• Where we got it: your company's own website, your public professional profile (such as LinkedIn), public job adverts, and business contact databases (Apollo).
• Why: to write to you about something relevant to your company's business. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We have weighed our interest against yours in a written assessment, which you can ask to see.
• Who we email: people at limited companies and other corporate bodies, at their work address, about their business. We don't email sole traders or partnerships without their consent.
• How to stop it: reply to any email saying so, in any words. We'll stop straight away and add you to our suppression list, so you're never emailed by us again.

Emails sent for a recruitment agency. When we run a campaign for an agency, the email is sent in that agency's name. The agency decides who is contacted and why, and we do the work for them under a written agreement. You can ask either of us to stop, and either of us will make sure it happens.

If you contact us

If you get in touch through our website, by email or on LinkedIn, we keep your name, email address, company name and anything else you choose to share, so we can reply and talk to you about our services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or your consent where you've given it.

How we use your data

We use personal data to:

• Send relevant business emails to people at companies, for ourselves or for the recruitment agencies we work for
• Reply to enquiries and provide our services
• Keep a record of business emails and relationships
• Meet our legal obligations

We do not sell or rent your personal data, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Contact records are reviewed regularly and removed when they're no longer relevant. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep only your email address and company on our suppression list, so we don't contact you again by mistake.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete it
• Object to us using it, including for direct marketing, at any time
• Ask us to restrict how we use it
• Ask for a copy you can take elsewhere, where that applies

How we protect your data

We use established tools (Google Workspace and secure cloud platforms with strong access controls) to store and process personal data, and we limit access to what our work needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

Who processes data for us

We use these service providers: Google (email and document storage), Apollo (business contact data and email sending), and Vercel (website hosting). They process data only as needed to provide their services to us.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data goes abroad, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first at hello@brinkoutreach.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page.
